Our guide will pick you at 7.00am from where you are residing and drive you to Jinja in the eastern part of the country, continue to the source of the Nile in Jinja. You will visit the source of the Nile and explore it by boat and later have a brief drive through this historical town before heading to Kalagala falls where you will participate in white water rafting, considered to be the highlight adventurous and most sought-after sport on this part of the river.
The rafting begins at the The Nile Source at 09:30am with a comprehensive briefing and being fitted with the special rafting gear and is done on an 18 kilometre stretch of the Nile River. No prior experience of rafting is required. The first few rapids are of low grade (1, 2) to build the confidence of the participants before guiding them gradually into the more challenging grades.
A total of eight major rapids are rafted to maximize the adrenaline rush of this adventure. You will, after the rafting adventure, be treated to a barbecue lunch and drinks before setting off for a brief tour of the historical town of Jinja. You will drive back to Kampala in the late afternoon.

You will depart Entebbe after breakfast for Lake Mburo National Park. The drive takes 4-5 hours with stopovers at areas of tourist attraction such as the Royal Drum makers’ centre and at the Equator for an opportunity to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres at the same time. You will continue through the Savannah grasslands dotted with human homesteads, banana plantations and several herds of local long horned Ankole cattle endemic to this part of the country. You will have lunch at the lodge reserved for you after which you will go for a boat trip on Lake Mburo, rich with a variety of water animals such as hippos and crocodiles and bird species. After breakfast, you will have an early morning game drive through the park in search of plain game like zebra, hippos, crocodiles, eland, antelope, impala and a variety of birds. After an early breakfast, you will set off for the south western part of the country. Heading to Lake Bunyonyi. This lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. It is the second deepest lake in Africa [900 meters deep] and also one of the few places in the country where it is considered safe to swim as it is bilharzias free. The landscape around the lake is made up of terraced hills protruding from the water’s edge. After an early breakfast, you will set out for a Boat ride at Lake Bunyonyi. This lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by the guides before you begin the search in the thick Bwindi forest for the giant gorillas. Bwindi National Park is renowned for its impressive mountain gorillas, although it is unpredictable for how long you will track before finding them since it all depends on their movement. Though the time spent to track down these Gorillas is unpredictable, the thrill of spending time and observing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure that will leave you with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience. Today morning after an early breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you to the briefing point where the golden monkey trekking starts. Just like the previous day, you receive a briefing from the ranger guide who will share information on what to expect while in the Virunga volcanoes searching for the golden monkeys. After this short brief, you will then start your hike up in search of the golden monkeys, found only in the Virunga ranges of Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. Porters are available for those interested and an enforcement officer will join you to help in case you meet the wild buffaloes and Elephants which can be dangerous. Golden monkeys are swift in their movements unlike the gorillas and you will follow them as they feed. They love feeding on bamboo shoots among other foods like fruits, vegetation and sometimes ants.
You are only allowed to spend 1 hour with the golden monkeys before you start your descent back to the starting point and continue the journey to Kisoro town for dinner and overnight.
